ABOUT DR RENÉ

I grew up in the Moot and the Moot is where my heart is. I decided to persue dentistry as I love helping and caring for people and I enjoy working with my hands.

My passion is paediatric dentistry. I love treating children, from babies with lip or tongue ties to older children with orthodontic needs. It gives me so much satisfaction to help my little patients get through their appointment by being gentle and literally making them excited about coming back.

I enjoy making damaged teeth become whole again and restoring patients’ dental function and aesthetics. In certain cases this can be a life changing event for our patients as it can allow them to smile confidently again for the first time in a while or possibly ever. I also strive to help patients overcome their dental anxiety.

In my spare time my favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. I have a loving husband, George, two amazing boys, Geoffrey and Reuven, and a beautiful daughter, Alivia.

My favorite foods are lasagne and sushi. I don’t like to cook. 😉
Some things on my bucket list include traveling to Jerusalem and Switzerland and visiting the Victoria Falls.
